Rolling Hills Ranch in Johstown, Colorado is a 150 acre residential development. Roads, grading, stormwater management, utilities and drainage work was performed by Messner Engineering, Inc. and has been under construction since 1996. This subdivision comprises almost 250 single family homes and over 130 multi-family townhomes.

546 SE 8th Street is a four building commercial complex located in southeast Loveland, Colorado. Each structure has the potential to be divided into several smaller units to provide office area and area for storage and assembly of materials. This building was constructed as part of Phase II. The project was completed in 3 phases of construction.

The area of the property containing the retention pond was not buildable due to floodplain encroachment. By designing the pond to be constructed in this area the rest of the site could be used for buildings and parking areas.
Campus West Redevelopment at the corner of Elizabeth Street and City Park Avenue in Fort Collins, Colorado revitalized the old Campus West Theater location. Stores and restaurants occupy the ground level with loft style apartments above.
The detention facilities required to handle the storm runoff from the site could have been a major detriment to the much needed parking facilities for the site. To avoid this problem, an underground detention facility was installed below the parking lot, meeting the drainage requirements of the site and maximizing the development potential of the property.
